Federation Training’s new TVC a Scribblevision creative project

Where will your education take you? This is the catch cry of Federation Training’s new television commercial (TVC), produced – yes you guessed it – by the creative folk here at Scribblevision.

Federation Training needed a simple yet sophisticated TV campaign to drive enrolments and extend recognition of the organisation, established following the amalgamation of Advance TAFE and GippsTAFE in May of this year.

Over the Moon about our new web developer

If you’re anything like me, there are aspects of the web developer’s job description that read like another language. You want some examples? Well how about PHP, Java, C++, HTML, MySQL. Need I go on?

But for our new front-end web developer Rushmila “Moon” Islam, it’s a language that presents no translation difficulties.

People and technology, an irresistible mix

In less than 24 hours IKEA’s promo of its 2015 catalogue, a parody of Apple marketing and a tilt at the digital age, has had more than 150,000 views on social media channel YouTube.

The promo engages because it recognises the yearning for the simple and the tangible – a real, printed product catalogue that you can see and feel and smell, the stuff of yesteryear. Anyone out there who knows the frustration of a dozen different passwords, content management and mobile plan comparisons will utter a definitive UH-HUH at this point.

Content is king

Here I am, the newest member of the Scribblevision team. I'm the girl who started her working life cleaning a butcher shop, took a mid-career break to pick daffodils in Cornwall, and in the baby years even attempted to earn a living selling cosmetics via party plan.
